Ingersol received his medical degree from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac, Hamden, Connecticut. He completed his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and his fellowship in endocrine surgery at University of Miami – Jackson Health.
Ingersol is a native of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
