Loretto recently promoted Kara Gemmell to director of Independent Living for The Nottingham. Formerly the director of therapeutic recreation, Gemmell started at Loretto in 2017.
Gemmell holds a bachelor’s in recreation management and policy; therapeutic recreation and a minor in psychology from the University of New Hampshire Durham.
She is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist and a member of the LeadingAge New York IGNITE Leadership Academy.
