Iroquois Health Alliance (IHA) has hired Kevin Kerwin to serve as its new deputy vice president of advocacy and government relations.
Kerwin brings a wealth of legal and policy experience, as well as experience with legislative program development and advocacy activities at both the state and federal levels, along with emergency preparedness in the healthcare field.
Prior to joining IHA, he was the vice president for public policy at the New York State Association of Health Care Providers (HCP). He spent 12 years on staff at the New York State Bar Association working on government relations and as the association’s deputy general counsel. He started his career as the legislative counsel at the New York State Department of Labor.
IHA is a regional healthcare trade organization representing 50 hospitals and health systems in 32 counties of Upstate New York.
